What exactly is Review the Facts? Is it a blog about only the facts or is it really my rants and opinions about a wide variety of topics?

When reality sets in the blog is the facts as I see them. As you are probably aware if 10 people see a car accident from different angles they will give you 10 different stories which could place the blame in many different ways. Facts, unless scientifically tested repeatedly, are really just someone’s observations and beliefs. This is my facts, my opinions, my beliefs, and the way I see reality wrapped around these topics.

Should You Review the Facts About Everything You Do?

Are my opinions any better than yours? Only in those situations where I have real first hand knowledge compared to your untested opinions. As a great example, I enjoy using Microsoft’s Live Writer for some of my blogs. It gives me greater control and simplicity in creating tables, using images, and control of fonts than trying to do it with HTML within the standard WordPress editor. For me the facts are simple. Live Writer works great. You might despise the idea of using the program because of a bias against Microsoft or a core love of HTML code. If you have not tried Live Writer your opinions are untested. They might be correct for you, but they are untested.

I will review the facts the way I want and let the chips fall where they may. The important thing is you should do the same. Always review your own facts and then make decisions which will improve your life. That is the real road to….oh, who knows where it is going to take you, but it will be a lot better destination than one without testing the facts.

Consider every fact your read on this website as my opinion and feel free to disagree with me on any and all points, it never hurts you to be wrong. Let’s get busy and review the facts through my eyes and let you form your own opinions.

As part of my work with CustomerExplosion, my Oklahoma City SEO company, it is important to evaluate tools clients can use to simplify work on their own blogs.

I have never tried Windows Live Writer before, so today is a good time to give it a try. One of the driving reasons for giving it a test is tables. While it is possible to create tables using HTML code in your WordPress posts, it is not something the average small business owner wishes to learn and spend time with.

Inserting a simple table using Live Writer appears to be one of the easiest options available. The only item you must do ahead of time is turning on your remote editing within the Writing Settings of your WordPress Blog, specifically the XML-RPC setting.

Once you have done this, you can step through adding your blog to Live Writer, and get an easy to use editor for your blog. By going under the Insert tab in Live Writer you can add a simple table as you see below:

Company Sales

Cost of Sales

Profits

$1,000,000.00

$1.00

$999,999.00

$1.00

$0.01

$0.99

If you need tables in your WordPress Blogs, give LiveWriter a try. You will find this free download from Microsoft a great time saver.

It is not a matter of making your content stuffed with keywords, but a matter of using common sense to include your keywords naturally within your content. A little bit of effort can go a long way.

If you take just a few moments to include any phrases you wish to target in the title, your first paragraph, and your last paragraph, you will be far ahead of the average webmaster.

This is especially true in local SEO efforts. James and I discover in our Oklahoma SEO business most business owners do not pay attention to these small details. It makes perfect sense. They are busy taking care of their business, serving customers, and creating value. They do not have time to focus on these minor details.

We step in and help them by designing a plan for their websites to help them reach the front page of Google within a few short months. It brings them added leads, additional sales, and higher profits. A great return on investment.
